Sitting pretty on the shore; seemed right
to approach this lovely duckling with the disposition to
make her hear the tune of my heart strings

So I sat right down by her side
she turned and looked deep into my eyes
my heart beats fast, took this bear by surprise
of the power that she has with only kindness

But she said she loves horses
Not bears, not her kind, or the forest
only open fields with equine creatures for her
but she said she’ll give a chance for a dance
better keep my rhythm tight cuz she said she loves horses
The love I keep inside just isn’t for her
but only if she would just open up the door for me
I could show her all i have to give
doesn’t matter though, cuz she said she loves horses

She got me feeling kinda dumb,
wrapped round her fingers and her thumb
wish that I could be
that horse, but thats just not me
